Skoda Fabia is a mini class model of Czech manufacturer, Skoda. The first version of the model was launched in 1999 to replace the Felicia model which would be retired in 2001. Skoda Fabia is available in several bodies: hatchback, estate and saloon.
The first version was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and nowadays it has a wide range of engines for each body type which varies from 1.2 TSI, the 1.9 TDI. The second generation of Fabia entered the production line in 2006 producing the variants Classic, Ambiente, Sport and Elegance.In 2007, Fabia won the Car of the Year title in Serbia. The model is made, outside the mother plant in Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic, in factories in India, Kazakhstan, China and Ukraine. Czech model achieved satisfactory results at EURO NCAP safety tests, receiving 4/5 stars for adult occupant safety, 3/5 stars for child safety and 2 of 5 stars for pedestrian protection in an accident.
